A Greener Church Picnic

Our Lakeside Eucharist and Picnic is getting a green makeover! The Ministry of Fun has paired with the Green Team to make this event low impact on our environment. We will be using compostable plates, utensils and napkins instead of plastic and traditional paper plates.  We will have separate containers to collect the compostable items and after the event we will take them to a Davidson composting collection site. In past years, this event has created much trash and we want to live into our environmental stewardship values by reducing our waste.

Everyone is invited to join this event! Please help us out by bringing your non-alcoholic beverage in a reusable container. St. Alban’s will be holding our annual Eucharist at the Lake on Sunday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson College Lake Campus. For more details, click here.
