Each fall and spring, groups of 8-10 meet three times at each other's homes to share an informal dinner, with each bringing a category of food. Singles and those who cannot host are welcome. Contact Jackie Dienemann by calling the front office. Hope to see you there!
EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN
The ECW meets quarterly for fellowship, often at lunchtime. The ECW also oversees our two annual charitable collections—the United Thank Offering in the fall and the collection for Thompson Child and Family Focus in the spring.
Moms Connect is for women seeking connection in different phases of motherhood. This group is a community of moms who gather regularly for fun, reflection, mutual support, and prayer. We generally meet monthly at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of the month in group members’ homes or at church. For details, contact Alexis Doherty by calling the front office.
The Prodigal Sons are a loosely organized group of guys who collaborate with the Ministry of Fun to put on special St. Alban's annual events like Oktoberfest and Cards for Kids. To get involved, contact Skip Notte through the parish office.
SIT ’n’ STITCH
Sit 'n' Stitch meets at 1:00 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month in the Reflection Room/Nursery. Knitters, needleworkers, and other crafters are invited to bring projects and enjoy an informal afternoon of stitching, conversation, and friendship.
TAI CHI FOR BEGINNERS/SENIORS
Marsha Brodsky, a certified Tai Chi instructor, leads classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the St. Alban's narthex (upstairs lobby). There are many health benefits to practicing Tai Chi, including lower blood pressure, better balance, more flexibility, and an overall sense of calm and well-being. You are invited to join the class and experience the health benefits, peace, and serenity.
Tee Dryer, a certified yoga instructor, leads a Gentle yoga class every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This class is suitable for beginners and all levels of yoga. A $5 donation is recommended for each class.
