Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has a plan for us all. When we trust and put our faith in him, his plan is illuminated in front of us. It is not always on our time frame because it is his plan and we must have faith to be patient for his vision to become clear for us. I am sure that we all have seen or experienced this at one time or another in our lives. For me it was finding an amazing home from a beautiful couple here at church. Even when I thought it wouldn’t work out, I had faith. Miraculously it came to fruition the same day I sold mine. Those without faith might not believe this to be possible, however this is what my friends and I would refer to as a “God thing”. For me there is no other possible explanation and because of that I feel so deeply that this was meant to be and that I was led to this house. The divine blessing was that I even knew the sweet couple from church from which I bought the house. This God moment came exactly at the right time, and I have never been more affirmed in my faith with the way it all came together.
These “God things” hopefully happen to many of you as well. Life can be hard and challenging, and we all have something we struggle with from time to time and it’s how we handle it that makes us who we are. I quote this to my children all the time. Only we can control ourselves and living by faith enables us to trust in God. I am not saying that I don’t get stressed occasionally, but I am reminded as I look up at a picture in my office that “Life is Fragile Handle It With Prayer”. When we pray, we give it all to God and having faith means that we trust in his plan. It is the best thing to do to bring peace to this over inundated life. Take time to pray and trust in his plan.
