Heart Friends Meeting

“Heart Friends” is a new opportunity at St. Albans to meet together to intentionally deepen our spiritual connection to each other as siblings in Christ. We will meet once or twice a month (to be decided by group) to share what’s happening in our lives and how God is leading us along our life paths. In addition, we might share readings or songs or life experiences that brought us closer to God. We might participate in activities like Centering Prayer, liturgical movement, walking the prayer trail together, or whatever a group member would like to suggest. George Jacobs has agreed to start out as our leader by guiding us through a type of Lectio Divina reflection that will lead us into praying for each other and Barbara Brehm will help facilitate discussion on getting organized. We hope this will provide a place of belonging and encouragement for us as God’s family.
