The Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak
whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.”
- Jeremiah 1:7-8

High School Youth Group
St. Alban’s has teamed up with our neighbors at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Mooresville to offer a joint youth group for 9th – 12th graders. To learn more, visit http://www.lknepiscopalyouth.weebly.com/.
Youth Confirmation Class
Periodically, we offer a six-week class for youth (8th grade and above) who wish to explore being confirmed in the Episcopal church. This class is taught by the clergy. Bishops preside at Confirmation, so the class is scheduled based on the date of the Bishop’s annual visitation. Class dates will be announced in all parish communications.
Beginning in 6th grade, youth are invited to serve in worship as torch-bearers, crucifers, and in other liturgical ways. Acolyte ministry is a special and meaningful part of our worship tradition.
