St. Alban's Episcopal Church

  welcomes you

Get involved with St. Alban's!

There are many ways to help and participate in the Sunday worship services. What are your talents? How can you engage in St. Alban's worship services.

See below for descriptions and contacts for your future involvement.

Altar Guild

Altar guild is a true ministry - open to both women and men. The duty of the altar guild is to prepare all the things necessary for the celebration of the Eucharist or any of the other sacraments and offices of the church.  The guild members care for the sacred vessels, the bread and the wine, the fair linens and hangings and the candles and torches used for worship in the Sanctuary. Flower Guild

Flower guild members believe in the beauty of God’s creation and bring that beauty of God’s world to our worship here at St. Alban’s. Members provide and arrange flowers or greens in our Nave and other parts of our worship space. The members serve on a rotating schedule covering each week of the church year. Please click email link below to email for more information or to sign up.

If you would like to request flowers on the altar in honor or memorial of someone please click the online form HERE.

Servers

Each Sunday, we have acolyte and usher volunteers. This is a wonderful way to be actively involved with the worship service as Chalice bearers, Lectors, Crucifers, Torch Bearers, Greeters and Servers. Ushers hand out bulletins,  collect donations and offer assistance if parishioners should have any special requests or needs. Lectors are the readers during the service. Please click below to sign up.
